I’m a software engineer and sit a lot, suffering from back and shoulder pain for a long time. I’ve used the Fitbeast daily for a month for both maintenance and on several occasions where I had a particular need to foam roll. It has always been very comfortable to use and it does a great job helping to work the tight areas in my back. I like the bigger yoga wheel since it gives my back a nice stretch. It doesn’t irritate my shoulder blades or spine so I can get the therapeutic effect without the discomfort so I much more relaxed when I use roller.

My upper back was feeling what I described as “locked up.” I would try traditional stretches and nothing really seemed to help it. The wheel helps stretch and target the knots with its' different massage zone. This takes minutes a day. My back has gotten much looser feeling, really amazing. I highly recommend.

My mid to lower back is constantly having muscle spasms or tightness. This roller works well and massaging those muscles as I've been using it for a week now. You definitely need to be careful and go slow using it a first while. Take time to make sure the middle channel lines up with your spine so that the massage bumps don't cause discomfort. You get used to it fast after using it a few times. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a back roller.

Put simply, the FitBeast back wheel puts pressure on the muscles surrounding the spine. In doing so, the muscles and joints are stretched and strengthened. What's the difference between a Fitbeast back wheel and a foam roller?
There are two main differences -- width and pressure.
