Adapting to everyday life, including yoga, is not always easy. However, remember that even 10 minutes of yoga a day can have positive benefits for your physical and mental health.  By making sure to set aside some time every day and changing your yoga practice, you can easily integrate yoga into your daily work.

Incorporate yoga into your schedule

1. Get your yoga gear ready. If you want to practice yoga every day, please always have your yoga equipment ready for practice at home or in the studio. This can help you avoid making excuses not to practice every day.

  • You will need a yoga mat and may also need some props, such as yoga belts, yoga bricks, and a large blanket or mat at hand. These devices can help improve and deepen your yoga practice and make it more comfortable.
  • You can buy cushions and props at sporting goods stores, yoga studios, or online Yoga retailers.
  • You don't necessarily need special yoga clothes, but try comfortable clothes that are not too tight.

2. Decide when and when you want to practice. Although there is no best time to do yoga, many people like to practice at the same time every day. This can help you ensure that you practice every day.

  • Some people like to practice yoga first thing in the morning. This will not only make you energetic but also avoid making excuses for not practicing later in the day. Others prefer to practice at night to help them sleep.
  • Some people find it most beneficial to keep regular at the same time and place every day. Your mind and body will connect that time and place with the Yoga course, which can be a great internal motivation. Be sure to choose a time when you know you won't be disturbed or distracted, such as an early morning or late night.
  • Even if always practicing at the same time and place doesn't help you, try to schedule a specific time for your practice. Planning ahead helps you stay consistent.
  • You can practice yoga as long as you like. It may range from a few rounds of sun worship to a full 90 minute meeting. You can consider practicing different lengths of time every day to avoid exhaustion.

3. Set a time for yourself every day. Set a specific time for your yoga practice every day. Make sure all electronic devices are turned off or unplugged, no one is coming, and everyone in your home is not at home or otherwise occupied. Let others know that you should not disturb your yoga practice unless in an emergency.

  • Many yoga classes are 60-95 minutes, but you may not be able to spare so much time. Even if you only have 10 minutes a day, you can still benefit from yoga.
  • If you have children, try to find someone to look after them while you practice yoga. You can also do yoga during their nap, and even consider inviting children to do yoga with you!

4. Find a comfortable place to practice. You can try yoga at home or in a professional studio. Either way, it's important to find a designated space so that you can focus on your daily exercises comfortably and easily.

  • Make sure the place you choose to practice is quiet and quiet so that no one interferes with your attention.
  • If you don't want to practice at home, you can try different types of studios and yoga groups.
  • An experiment in different studios near you to find your favorite studios and lecturers. You don't have to limit yourself to one studio or lecturer. Changing your yoga class can help you build your practice and prevent it from becoming boring.
  • If you want to practice at home, please make sure you have enough activity space and isolation from the outside world.

5. Looking forward to gradual improvement. Daily practice will begin to make significant changes in your life, but it will not happen immediately. Sometimes you may feel that you have made no progress at all. Give it time and you may suddenly realize that your daily practice is beneficial and has a positive impact on the rest of your day.

  • Don't make it a big problem to miss a day here and there. It happens, just pick it up where you left. Body memory is powerful, so let your body relax and don't let your mind worry because you miss practice!

Change your daily practice

1. Regular, not rigorous. It's better to practice yoga for a few minutes a day than to force yourself to practice for a long time from time to time. Do any asanas you like and perfect them, then do more difficult poses. Remind yourself that doing some yoga is better than doing nothing.

  • Avoid taking a negative attitude and tell yourself that you "can't" do certain postures. You can, but it may take some (or a lot) time. Practice regularly and establish more difficult positions.

2. Arrange a balanced daily exercise. Sequence, or combining the poses that make up yoga practice, is one of the most difficult parts of practicing yoga, especially if you practice at home. According to the basic formula followed by most yoga classes, set up different sequences for yourself every day to help you get the most out of practice and avoid boredom.

  • Start your practice with a short meditation and chanting exercise to calm your mind and concentrate your thoughts.
  • Before you start practicing, set an intention for your practice.
  • From the sun salute warm-up to the standing position, then through handstand, back bend, front bend, and finally ended in Savasana or corpse position.
  • Always end your exercise in a final relaxed position.
  • Consider combining simple and difficult courses with short and long practice time.

3. Combine different postures. You don't have to be able to do all the existing yoga poses for effective daily practice. Combining and mastering different postures from each of the four postures can help you organize your daily exercises without becoming boring or routine.

  • Make sure to start with simpler asanas and then move to more difficult asanas after mastering the basic asanas.
  • Perform poses from each position in the following order: standing position, handstand, back bend and front bend.
  • If you prefer, you can add a twist pose to neutralize and stretch your spine between back and front bends.
  • Keep breathing 3-5 times per pose.

4. Change what you recite. If you like to recite mantras before or after yoga practice, please change the mantras to reflect your daily intentions or feelings of the day. Each spell has a different vibration, and you want to find one that corresponds to your intention.

  • Repeating spells can help you get rid of the stress you may feel and help you focus on your intentions.
