Trust me your hands and wrist will feel 10 times better and it’s great for the muscles.
We have been using this hand, grip strength trainer for the last few weeks with great results.
This adjustable strength trainer has been working great for both myself and my boyfriend. It is easy to use and with just a quick adjustment we can switch the intensity of our workouts. When you have it on low intensity, the movement works great for smaller hands. When you increase the intensity, the movement becomes larger and works better for medium hands. My boyfriend wishes they were just a little bit larger for him.
The quality of this product is great, it's held up good and doesn't feel flimsy. We also love the additional forearm trainers like the ball and the small donut. We don't use the finger strength trainers too much because they feel kind of awkward.
Overall, we would highly recommend this product to anybody with small or medium hands. If you have large hands even on full strength, they're just a little bit small. Great product tho.
TL;DR: It's great, it's well priced, comes with potentially useless items, might not last forever.
The product has worked as it's supposed to, it feels cheaply designed, as it's made out of plastic. The hinge isn't very tight, when squeezed it often goes too far to the side instead of aligning with the handle itself.
The spring can be adjusted anywhere between 10 to 132 pounds of resistance by twisting the knob on the front.
The handle has a button-based counter that clicks every time you do a rep and it goes up to 99 before resetting.
Resetting this counter can be a hassle and the clicking can be annoying.
It comes with a stress ball that has a very gross feeling and texture, it may not bother some people but it looked and felt odd to me.
It comes with a ring that you can squeeze and a finger resistor that I didn't really care much for.
I've had the product for a few days and it's great, I use it every time I'm watching something, though I wish I could take the button off, the counter ticking can be annoying.
They are great with setting to increase and reduce the pressure. They also come with a counter as you press the handles together. The ball, donut and the finger-stretching exerciser are great too and really activate your motion and stretch the muscles.
This set of workout equipment has become a daily part of my routine in the last few weeks. I have enjoyed using them! The large grip trainers make a clicking sound as they track the number of reps completed, which is very satisfying. I find myself clicking away while on a meeting or a call.
They have held up with no issue so far. The plastic feels a little cheap, but they show no signs of breaking so I don't take much issue with it. I have noticed my grip improving when pole dancing or climbing, so they are definitely worth my time!
I really like these grip strengtheners. I have had them for about a month now and so far they are holding up well. The tension adjustment works very well, so you can dial them in to your own level of desired tension. I have alway had an old school set of these that was not adjustable, and frankly too difficult to be able to use, so being able to relax the tension a bit and work with them is excellent. I got the set to build up strength in my wrists and I can already notice a difference in the short time I have had them. The other items they include are actually very good too, but I have mainly used the grips. Overall, a very nice set and there are many different ways you can use these.
This little lit is great. Everything feels well-made. I got this set for my mother. She is getting older and having trouble opening jars and other small tasks from weak hands. She has been using this kit for a few weeks now and has had some improvement. She even upped the resistance. The adjustable resistance is nice because I can use it, too. I like that there is a small clicker counter that keeps track of your reps. My mother also likes the donut. She doesn't really use the ball or the bands, though. This is a great kit for people who want to strengthen their hands. The best part is that you can work out right on your couch while watching TV.
This is a good set of grip/forearm strength exercising tools. The hand grip strengtheners have counters on them (that can be reset), and you can adjust the tension. All of the components feel sturdy, and not likely to break or wear out.
The rubber grips on the hand exerciser are a fairly hard rubber, with no give, bit slippery with no stippling or any texture to give fingers a good grip. The hand exerciser is a strong plastic and the metal pin at the pivot joint holds it together well without any play at the pivot point. The pins for the spring tensioner also hold well with no play there, either. Adjusting the tension is easy, but the pounds of tension is only an approximation as the scale is small and not well defined. The counters on the ends of the grips are not readily reset and will only advance when the grip is completely depressed. When going fast, a rep might not be 100% depressed, so it will not be counted.
The grip ball has a very good gripping texture. The first part of the squeeze is very easy, but when compressed to about 3/4", it provides a lot more resistance. It is only about 2" in diameter, so is more suitable for smaller hands. The grip ring has a decent grip texture, and a firmer initial squeeze tension, but it is easy to squeeze together. It is about 2 5/8" in diameter, so it, too, is more suitable for smaller hands.
The finger exerciser provides a good amount of resistance, but it slides down your fingers while using it.
I really only wanted the hand exercisors, and they seem to work fine and seem like they will be durable. I have only been using them for about a week or so, but have not seen any loosening in the pivot points or any other issues.
A set of exercise tools that allow you to strengthen your grip. There are two grippers, one finger stretcher, and a rubber ball. It comes with a bag to hold everything. The rubber finger grips are useful to strength your fingers by extending them while the ball is for squeezing. The two grippers have a counter, which works but at random times will skip numbers and a spring that can be tightened to increase resistance. The feel of the items is very plastic, and while tightening the spring increases resistance, I'm not sure how accurate the numbers are of how much resistance, felt too arbitrary. Overall, I wasn't a fan of the feel of the grippers but functionality there were no compllaints.
There are a lot of these types of hand exercisers to choose from on Amazon, many with additional pieces like the grip ring and finger exerciser. While those might be important to some people, I was only really interested in the grip strengthener, so can't really recommend spending the extra few bucks for all the additional pieces unless you really have need for them (physical therapy etc.)
Overall, the grip trainers are adequate, the tension spring works well and at full extension it really offers a work out, so unless you're a real beast, the adjustable resistance should be enough for most people. The counter works fine, but resetting it is a little inaccurate; you have to push in and twist it to zero, but the two numbers don't always align, so while the first number turns to zero, the second number might be ahead. (Works best if you squeeze it until the single digit is on zero, then twist the reset to forward the double digit to zero.)
My only real criticism is that the width of the grip is a little small for my larger hands. so the squeeze doesn't allow for my fingers to fully extend as much as I'd like. Would probably be a perfect fit for women or someone with smaller hands. It would be nice if the grip width were adjustable as an inch wider would work better for me.
These are easily adjusted and seem to work well for the exercise. I really like the counter, however wish it was a little bit better made. It's hard to get reset because it's loose and the knob doesn't catch well. But overall I like the grip strengtheners, just wish they had dropped the other items and put a little more $ in the counter.
I'm 100% going to keep using this wheel, and if you are looking for a bit of back relief from sitting around constantly, I would recommend at-least giving this a try! As a disclaimer, I am no medical expert, so it might be wise to talk to a professional before trying this - although I was willing to just give this a shot and it works for me.
I was very pleased with how sturdy this wheel is! It is great for rolling your back. It works as advertised and has worked for me and my wife. Great product.
As a PT I am really impressed with this product. I have tried a few Fitbeast products and they all have been good quality. I've tried this with several clients and it has worked well for their back pain! I definitely recommend trying this out.
It's relatively lightweight at under 3kg, but considerably more than a foam roller. Though it's probably a tad more portable, it is still a more significantly sized item, and you still have the empty void to pack a towel or some gym clothes if you want to take this with you.
Very comfortable to use and happy with the carry bag it comes with as well to make this mobile. Happy with the results of this item and the build quality.
I was tentative on my first use of the wheel as it felt quite unnatural, to the point where I was fearful of injuring myself as I’m not as flexible as I once was. Anyway, I quickly gained in confidence and rolled a few times, deciding not to overdo it on the first day. I did feel loosened up afterwards which was a good sign.
The roller itself looks well made and sturdy. A lot of thought has gone into the design of it with a groove for protecting the spine etc.
It is probably bigger than you're imagining if you've not seen one before, but it's light and hollow so isn't hard to carry or store. The inner plastic is very strong. It doesn't compress at all under my bodyweight, and the foam is firm.
I've had a few different rollers over the years but this one seems very well engineered and of high quality. They have really thought about the spine and padding on it. I really like that it comes with a storage bag and the cloth and hair clip are a really nice bonus. It comes with a guide with some exercises and also links to online resources.
It arrived in a very nice storage/carrying case with a QR code to exercises and more exercise info inside the case. There's also a cleaning cloth and a hair clip. The manufacturers really put in all the details to make this a fantastic first and lasting experience
I love the instructions that have been provided. Lots of useful information about fitness and wellbeing in general as well as useful instructions on how to get the best use of the roller.
This roller is as the name implies… “fitbeast”. It’s large and allows more body coverage. The knobs are great as they get into the tired muscles and the roller height gives enough access for range of motion. It’s not a cheaply made item. Good quality
